About Us

Who We Are

M2SE was created in 1989 to address predictions by the National Science Foundation regarding the national shortage of engineers over the next 20 years. Our mission is to significantly increase the number of students, particularly young women and minorities, who are motivated, prepared for, and enter Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics career fields.

What We Believe

  • All students have the potential to learn science, technology, engineering and mathematics
  • Early and continuous support for students and families is critical to sustaining the pipeline of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
  • Cooperation and collaboration between education and business is essential for science, technology, engineering and mathematics students to make a connection between their education and careers.

Our Approach

We equip teachers to deliver the program and philosophy to their students. This effort is closely aligned with the district’s and state’s grade level objectives. We have chosen to focus on assisting and supporting the teachers since they work directly, with the students we are targeting.
